A warrior has an important responsibility to their community, and it truly begins with fighting like a champ for their own well-being. There's always work to be done whether we're activists, youth or Elders, and that will never change. Our People are being called more loudly than ever to step up and strive for big change, and some of us keep giving even if we're running on low or empty. Finding ways to embrace self-care without the guilt is a process of self-discovery, and one that doesn't happen overnight. But with a new year knocking at the door, why not consider making it one of your resolutions? Trust me, it'll be worth it. And fun!
